The goal

Originally created for a local education company, this unused iteration still deserves some love. iTeach is an organization with a mission to help any classroom become a culturally responsive space. The goal was to create a brand that reflects excellence and could be used across age groups ranging from elementary schools to universities.

The process

Using excellence as the guide for this brand, we worked with imagery like crowns, stars and wreaths as well as the most recognized symbol of education, the book. We wanted the brand to feel dignified and energetic.

The soft edges of each shape and the gentle curvature of their custom wordmark reflect the ongoing journey we're all on toward becoming more culturally responsive. You can also see the other direction I explored, ultimately deciding the script would date too soon and be illegible in small print or from far away.
